Our Vision

We at NWBC are called to glorify God by creating faithful followers of Christ.

Our Values

To create faithful followers of Christ, we encourage the following three core values for every disciple:

  1. That we are growing in our relationship with God and in our dependence on Him.

  2. That we are constantly learning and consistently obeying.

  3. That we are passing on our resources, our talents and gifts, and our knowledge to anyone, anywhere, at anytime.

Our Mission

For each of the values being developed within all disciples, our mission is to encourage the strengthening of their relationship with Christ through their time being spent in each area:

  1. Devoted Time - Time spent reading God’s Word and in prayer.

  2. Together Time - Time spent gathering with the church family in worship and small group.

  3. Time To Pass It On - Using their resources such as their tithes and offerings, and using their gifts and their knowledge to further the Kingdom of God.

Our Beliefs

NWBC is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). Our foundations of faith are based upon the Baptist Faith and Message 2000:

Doctrine of God
We believe in one God who is eternally existing as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God, yet there is one God who created all things from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places.

Doctrine of Revelation
God has made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures and creation.

Doctrine of Man
We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God, and in that Christ died for man; therefore, every person of every ethnicity possesses intrinsic dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Doctrine of Sin
We believe that sin, any failure to obey the commands of God, has fractured all things; leaving the world in desperate need of salvation.

Doctrine of Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone and is offered to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Doctrine of the Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ; the community of all true believers for all time who has been sent into the world to shine forth the glory of God.

Doctrine of Resurrection and Consummation of the Kingdom of God
We believe that Jesus Christ is returning to the world in the future to judge the living and the dead.
